Stewardship: A Gift to One Another

At the heart of stewardship we recognize in being a part of a Christian Community, we are “A Gift to One Another.” At one level, it reminds us that the gifts we offer to God through our parish are not just to an institution, but to the life that we share in common. Yet at a deeper level, it also evokes the profound patterns of relationship that we build over time as a community, where we know that a life truly lived, is a life of openhanded reciprocity.

Stewardship is not simply the act of giving, but in a way, speaks of our experience with God in our lives, in the lives of those we love and in the lives of those we encounter, in the places we live, work, and worship.  Stewardship is a spiritual practice that helps to make the shift from self to community.

As the faith community of St. Michael & All Angels Church, we too are shaped by the common and unique experiences of God - and therefore have our own spiritual practice of stewardship within and beyond our community. Below are videos to illustrate the testimony of several parishioners about their own faith journey and the experience of God in their lives.  We hope these will give you an opportunity to reflect on the questions as well.

Below are videos of our parishioners reflecting on the role of God in their lives.
